Is it really free?
Yes — 100%. Consultations, guidance, and laying out your options never cost you anything, whether or not you ever decide to sell. That includes the consultation, the walkthrough of your options, and any referrals we make to other professionals. There is no fee at any stage and no invoice later.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. We earn a living in two ways: sometimes a homeowner decides selling to us is genuinely their best path, and sometimes we're paid a referral fee when we connect someone to an attorney or another professional who fits their situation. Neither costs you anything, and neither one is why we take the call. Most people we help never sell to us at all.
Do I have to sell my home?
Never. Selling is just one option among several, and only worth considering if it's genuinely your best path. Keeping your home is an outcome we're just as glad to help you reach.
Are you a law firm or financial advisor?
No. We're a homeowner-support service. We don't provide legal or financial advice, instead we help you understand your options and connect you with the right licensed professionals when you need them.
How do I know you're not one of the predatory companies?
It's a fair question, and you shouldn't take our word for it. Ask us anything you want about how we're paid. Check that we've told you about options that don't involve us — a company that only ever recommends selling to itself is telling you something. And never sign anything you don't understand, with us or anyone else. We'll tell you plainly when listing, reinstating, or keeping the home would leave you better off than selling to us would.
Will you pressure me to sell?
No. Many of the homeowners we work with never sell to us, and some don't sell at all. If you want to keep your home, that's the outcome we'll help you reach. You're free to stop the conversation at any point, and there's nothing to sign to talk to us.
